China Glaze's Deviantly Daring

Is this thing on?

So, first post in a new blog! How fun!....Or terrifying. Either way, here we are ^.^  On to the polish, eh?

What better way to start off a blog about polish than with what is currently on my nails?

Cleanup is still an art I'm learning so bare with me, I'm trying ^^;

China Glaze's Deviantly Daring is a shiny blue-to-aquatic green duochrome from their Fall 2012 Bohemian Luster collection. 'Peacock' is a word that comes to mind when trying to describe the color - More so when it's in the bottle as there are traces of yellow that sadly don't translate onto the nail.
Application was fairly easy, though slightly brush-streaky and somewhat on the sheer side but it built up easily. Above is two medium consistency coats, though three thin coats would be better, or even two over a black creme.

It's a lovely color that continually nags at you to look at it, shifting from a light to dark to greenish blue depending upon light and angle. It was one of those colors that I had seen on polish blogs across the net and fell in love with at first sight. Unfortunately I'm still getting the hang of photographing polish, so sadly my pictures don't do this color justice. I was impressed enough with the color that a day after applying it I decided to track down another color from the Bohemian Luster collection  -  But that's a polish for another post ~.^

Overall it's a varnish I'd happily recommend to anyone who likes blues, shimmer and colors that shift.

Well I think that went better than expected. Nothing's blown up...Yet.
Next time more varied pictures. I'll get the hang of this yet.....I'm sure?
